About
Enrico Cerovac is an Italian filmmaker based in Milan.
Born in Trieste, a small town facing the sea in the faraway NortEast of Italy, Enrico found a way to express his creativity through a piece of wood with 4 wheels, since the early 90s. This passion was the only way to explore and get in touch with new underground realities and to plunge into “the scene”. His curiosity and his DIY attitude later pushed him to elaborate and immortalize his experiences through visual arts, focussing especially on video productions.
Still a youngster, back in 1999, he started a new project called Zombies Video with two good friends of his: this video production soon became a great point of reference for the Italian skateboard and snowboard scenes. From the year 2000 to 2007, they produced 9 videos (published both on VHS and DVD): thanks to their creativity, to their style being unique at the time and to the great success achieved in Italy, the project caught the attention of the best brands and media abroad, which gave the group huge credibility and the chance to work at big productions even beyond the boardsport field.
After these enriching experiences, starting from 2008, Enrico continued his career as a director and a consultant for some of the most important firms of his field; he established excellent collaborations with some film production companies, making commercials and small documentaries, he also developed and produced several personal projects and took part in various festivals and artist collectives, always looking for new sparks and inspiration, yet ever true to his first passion for his skateboard and the sea.
Until now he has realized several projects for: Red Bull, Fiat, Nike Sb, Oakley, Adidas, Diesel, Iuter, Invicta, Illy, Carhartt, Evisu, Vans, Canon, Telecom, Pirelli, Ducati, among others.
